Human and institutional capacity development
FAO workshop in Rome: Strategy for Human Capacity Development

The company works at a variety of different levels to support human capacity development. This includes working with and supporting individuals and institutions (e.g. government administrations and fishing organisations), strengthening sector capacity, and enhancing the wider enabling environment through support for good governance. Our approach is based firmly on participatory needs assessment, and careful specification of delivery mechanisms to meet client needs. Recent work has included both field-based activities and normative work on capacity development issues.
