Rachel Hanbury is an Associate Consultant with Poseidon and specialises in fisheries related Monitoring, Control and Surveillance (MCS) and enforcement. She has over 15 years’ experience working for the UK Government as a Senior Fisheries Enforcement officer dealing with national and global investigations into non-compliant activity conducted by fishing vessels and operators (shore based and at sea). She led the UK Fisheries Control, Enforcement and Illegal Unreported and Unregulated Fishing policy team in DEFRA and has over 10 years’ experience working on fisheries trade, supply chains and border controls.
