Aquaculture
Salmon cage farm: Sustainability of Scottish aquaculture

Poseidon and its staff have worked with the aquaculture sector for many years at the research, production, marketing and sector planning levels. Much of our recent work has been focused on examining the environmental impacts of different aquaculture systems to assist in the development of sustainable practises and approaches; and economic efficiencies in production systems. Our experience has spanned temperate water aquaculture of salmonid as well as warm water finfish, crustacea and seaweed.
